April 1 corresponds to the day "Slave Abolition Day" on April 1, 1905 King Chulalongkorn. His Majesty promulgated the Abolition of Slavery R.E. 124 Act and the Military Conscription Act R.E. 124, which are regarded as the abolition of the slave system and the commoner system in Siam. Has been free since April 1, 1905, and also has provisions to prevent those who are free and then return to slavery again, making April 1 known as "Slavery Day".
And on April 1, it also corresponds to "Civil Servant Day" according to the Civil Service Regulations Act, 1928. Civil servants are organized to be standardized. It came into effect on April 1, 1928.
