Beauty Pageant Enthusiasts Celebrate Opal’s Triumphant Return to Thailand

Bangkok: Beauty pageant fans warmly welcomed 'Opal Suchada', Miss World 2025, back to Thailand before getting on a parade truck to celebrate throughout the capital. "Opal" Suchata Chuangsri, Miss World 2025, returned to Thailand on flight TG603 to attend the 'Home Coming 72nd Miss World 2025' event amidst a warm welcome from beauty pageant fans who packed Suvarnabhumi Airport. According to Thai News Agency, Opal expressed her gratitude to the Thai people, stating that the crown belongs to all of them. She expressed her intention to use her title to benefit society. Following the welcoming ceremony, Opal boarded a convertible Rolls-Royce, proudly waving the Thai flag, and proceeded to the Planetarium to join the celebratory parade marking Thailand's first Miss World victory. The atmosphere at the planetarium was vibrant with supporters eagerly awaiting Opal's arrival. Fans, dressed in blue, some wearing handcrafted Miss World crowns, greeted her with enthusiasm as her car approached. Mr. Teerachat Intha, t he parade designer, described the Miss World 2025 parade float as a fusion of international and Thai cultures. The design incorporated modernized Thai cultural elements, with two elephants at the front symbolizing bravery and Thailand. The centerpiece of the float featured a seat for Opal and a large, elegant imitation crown. The rear showcased a peacock's tail, symbolizing the crown's origin from India, the host country of the event. The procession was adorned with Thai patterns and designs, reflecting Thainess, and included a silver globe, representing the Miss World symbol. The parade highlighted modernity and cultural fusion, with floral arrangements in blue, white, and light pink, representing Opal's gentle nature. The entire color scheme focused on blue to complement the crown. The float's creation involved a team of over 20 people working for 5 days and nights. The procession will journey along Sukhumvit Road, concluding at Em District Shopping Mall. It will be led by a marching band and followed by a floral float showcasing Opal Suchata's elegance. The Homecoming Opal Miss World 2025 event will take place at UOB LIVE BANGKOK, 5th floor, Emsphere Shopping Mall, with 3,000 pre-registered attendees witnessing this historic moment for Thailand.
