Big-time drug lord arrives at Camp Crame from Abu Dhabi

Alleged big-time drug lord Kerwin Espinosa has arrived in the Philippines after his arrest in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, on October 17.

Upon arrival at the Ninoy Aquino Internatioal Airport at 3.35 am on Friday, he was escorted directly to the National Police headquarter in Camp Crame, Quezon City by PNP chief director general Ronald Bato Dela Rosa, According to The Inquirer Online.

Wearing an orange inmate garb, Espinosa went straight to the PNP's national headquarters building to undergo booking procedures and medical checkup. Afterward, he will be shown to the media.

The NHQ building was heavily guarded by special police force and members of the media were not allowed to bring bags inside the building where Dela Rosa will present the alleged drug lord in a press conference.

Last November, Espinosa's father, Albuera, Leyte mayor Rolando Espinosa Senior was killed inside his cell at the Baybay City sub-provincial jail when police conducted a search operation.

Police claimed the mayor and his fellow inmate Raul Yap died in a shootout with the officials.
