The military has handed over a key suspect in the hacking of the government and the military websites to the Royal Thai Police for trial.
The suspect identified as Natdanai Kongdee, 19, is among nine suspects detained by the military for hacking its websites.
He was handed over to the police today for further investigation.
Royal Thai Police commissioner Pol Gen Chaktip Chaijinda said at a press conference before noon today that authorities have gained substantial evidence to prosecute Natdanai for hacking government websites.
Describing his hacking activities as obvious, the commissioner said the suspect would face four charges � violation of computer crime act, firearms act, drug, and illegal assembly.
He said the suspect has admitted to the hacking of government and military websites.
