Korat: Korat is inundated with severe hailstorms hitting "Phimai-Prathai", piles of ice are white, trees are down in many places, locals say they have never seen such a heavy hailstorm before.
According to Thai News Agency, hailstorm hits Phimai and Prathai districts, Ban Nong Sabang-Nong Chot, Nang Ram sub-district, Prathai district, Nakhon Ratchasima province, turning into piles of white ice. Some villagers showed reporters the hail, saying it was not small. More importantly, the storm hit twice, the second round lasting about half an hour, causing trees to fall in many places. Meanwhile, Prathai district disaster prevention and relief officers rushed to survey the damage and provide full assistance to the people.
