August 1, 2022 from 15:00 to 16:30 p.m. – the Innovation and Enterprise Section under the supporting budget for carrying out the Covid-19 Innovation Project and the Research and Innovation budget for the Project: “Producing N95 mask filters based on triboelectric property of natural nano-fiber and nano-silver”, transferred 1,000 pieces of KN95 masks to Srinagarind Hospital. The Project is a collaboration of KKU personnel from many faculties and divisions. Asst. Prof. Angkana Boonyued, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Sciences presided over the transferring event. The researcher team, led by Asst. Prof. Wirat Charoenboun, Ph.D., joined. The event took place at the Lecture Building, Office of the Dean, 6th Floor, Faculty of Medicine. The masks will be used by the hospital staff.

Khon Kaen University has transferred the bodies of knowledge, research outcomes and innovations to assist, mitigate, and restore the society and community in different dimensions. There have been deployments of research and innovations, extension of research works for social benefits. The innovation, N95 masks with the filter, is another innovative invention of Khon Kaen University that will be useful during the spread of Coronavirus 2019 now.
