17 June 2022 11:00 am. Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC) organised an MOU signing ceremony between KKUIC and Cambridge University Press. Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongwiriyakul, president of Khon Kaen University, was the honorable witness in this event. The MOU – signed by Asst. Prof. Sirimonbhorn Thipsingh, Dean of KKUIC, and Ms. Phaklada Phromphruk, ELT Manager of Cambridge University Press Thailand – aims to establish academic collaboration in the English language courses for instructors and other academic personnel. The agreement also establishes a Linguaskill test center, an Online multi-level English proficiency test that aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR). It also includes the organisation of training sessions for students and the general public who are interested in taking an Online English proficiency test.
“The agreement between KKUIC and Cambridge University Press and Assessment will be beneficial to all parties involved. KKUIC and Khon Kaen University have policies in place to become a leading international university in the near future. KKUIC recognises the ambition to create international-standard academc materials of Cambridge University Press and Assessment. We are ready to move forward to provide the best education for students and staffs, both inside and outside our college, and respond to the changing demand of the job market,” Asst. Prof. Thipsingh said during the interview.
