Military junta stresses non violent action to resolve temple stand-off

The military junta again reiterated it's non violent approach to resolve the stand-off between monks, followers of Phra Dhammachayo and authorities.

The assurance of non violent action came from the spokesman of the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) Col Winthai Suvaree yesterday as both sides are still confronting each other in front of the temple.

Col Winthai said soldiers would not use violent mean but would only support DSI and police outside the temple.

But he was concerned about third party which might stir up or incite violence from the stand-off.
