No state agency or private organisation was honoured for having oustanding performance that was qualified for this year's transparency award, according to a release today on the website of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC).
The website released the result of the sixth presentation of transparency awards for 2016.
None organisation has performed outstandingly to be eligible for the 2016 transparency award except only 11 government agencies and private organisations winning admiration for their performances.
This is the first year that none organisation was awarded the prestigious award by the anti graft body.
Meanwhile the secretary general of the Anti Corruption Thailand commented that no organisation received the 2016 transparency award because the NACC this year carried out on site inspection of all documents which is more rigid than just inspecting documents received at office like it practised in the past years.
He added that although corruption still exists, but in near future Thailand will have more than 20 organic laws to deal with corruption.
