PM promises better quality of life for both Thai and migrant workforces

Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-ocha today promised to improve the quality of life of both Thai and migrant workforces either they are in or not in the organised labour system.

In his nationwide address to the workers marking the National Labour Day today, Gen Prayut said workers are significant resources to drive the country forward in the agricultural, industrial and service sectors.

They play important role to strengthen economy and increase economic value, he said.

Therefore he pledged that his government will create more jobs, stable jobs for all Thai and migrant workers with strong determination that all of them will be employed, have earnings, and occupational welfare.

Gen Prayut said all workers either in the organised or unorganised labour systems will have better quality of life, better protection and access to equal state welfare.

He assured them of stable earnings, skill labour development so that they will be ready to step into the Thailand's 4.0 Strategythat will see them having higher earnings.
