Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha said on Tuesday that he had already signed the new draft Constitution crafted by the Constitution Drafting Committee and endorsed by the National Legislative Assembly.
He said the draft charter was completed, endorsed and signed within the 30-day timetable.
The next step is for him to present the draft to the new King for final approval before it is published in the Royal Gazette and becomes effective.
The prime minister noted that the new King will have 90 days to see through the draft and to give the final approval.
