Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will go to Kalasin province tomorrow (Dec 13) on a one-day inspection trip to visit the people and follow up progresses in several government programmes to remedy poverty and water management problems.
The prime minister will travel on a military flight from the Sixth Wing base in Don Mueang to Roi Et airport and take any Army helicopter to Kham Muang district of Kalasin province.
From Ban Phon central sports stadium in Khan Muang, the prime minister will take E-tan farm truck to visit Phuthai Cultural Centre to view the spinning of Prae Wa silk by local people and preside over a ceremony to hand over farming machinery and cattle to needy farmers.
In the afternoon, the prime minister will travel to Lam Payang reservoir in Khao Wong district to hear briefing on water management and also to release fish in the reservoir for breeding.
He will return to Bangkok at about 7pm .
Kalasin is among several northeastern provinces hit by floods in late July. There was report that local villagers might lodge complaint of alleged irregularities in the 9101 fish and food distribution project with the prime minister during his visit there tomorrow.
