Rescue teams continued to search for four crews of a 36.5 gross tonnage fishing boat who went missing after it sank in wild sea off Chumphon coast before dawn yesterday.
Search for the crews, one Thai and three Myanmars, was conducted by Navy ships and planes after the five-million baht ship Phetsinsamut went down near Ko Ngam island, about 20 kilometres off Chumphon estuary with 10 crews on board.
Six were located and rescued, one Thai and five Myanmars. All of the survival wore life jackets.
Authorities believed the four missing are still alive as they also wore life jackets.
The sunken ship could not yet located.
