A school teacher was arrested for allegedly selling meths to students in Chumpolburi district of Surin province.

Police identified the suspect as Pitak Bunliem, 49.

He is the teacher at Ban Ponmuang school in Chumpolburi district.

He was caught with 50 meths in possession.

He said he had to turn to selling drugs because his monthly earning was insufficient to make ends meet.

He added he also take and sell drugs to student.

Meanwhile border patrol police also arrested two Laotian drug traffickers and seized 23,000 meths at a public park in Pak Chom district of Loei province.

Both admitted to wait at the park to deliver the drugs valued at two million baht to a client.
