Bangkok: Thai Airways adjusts flight routes to avoid conflict zones in South Asia. Following Pakistan's announcement of the closure of some domestic airspace and airports due to the conflict in the South Asian region, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited has made the decision to change the flight routes of its flights to Europe and South Asia. This change will take effect from 05.00 hrs. on Wednesday, 7 May 2025, and may result in delays for some flights on these routes.
According to Thai News Agency, the adjustment comes in response to the safety concerns for passengers as the conflict has affected international flights operating through Pakistani airspace. Thai Airways has stated that it will closely monitor the situation and has urged passengers traveling on the affected routes to stay informed by checking flight schedules and progress details. Passengers can do this via the THAI Corporate Communications Facebook page or by contacting the THAI Contact Center at 0-2356-1111, which is available 24 hours a day.
