Thailand’s Nations League volleyball team loses to Brazilians 1-3

Thailand’s female volleyball team lost to Brazil by 1-3 yesterday (Saturday) at the Women’s Nations League in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The Brazilian team won the first two sets, 25-18 and 26-24, but lost to the Thai side in the third set 23-25. In the fourth set, the Thai side fought ferociously and initially managed to edge into the lead at 18-16, but the Brazilians regained control and ultimately clinched victory 25-23.

The Thai side was defeated by the Dominican Republic on Thursday and is scheduled to take on Italy tonight (Sunday). The Thai team is currently placed 8th, having scored 15 points from 11 matches, with a chance to advance to the final round, pending the results of matches today between Canada and Germany, this morning, and between the Thai team and Italy tonight.
