Sadao: A tourist fell from a viewpoint on Khao Le and was seriously injured. Officials rushed to help and took him to the hospital. The cause is believed to be the slippery ground because it is raining a lot these days.
According to Thai News Agency, the incident occurred at a popular sunrise and mist-viewing spot in the Sadao District of Songkhla Province. Sadao Police Station coordinated with a rescue team, who traversed approximately 800 meters up the steep mountain to reach the site. The tourist, hailing from Pattani, fell from the cliff at Khao Hua Lan, landing on a tree about 100 meters below.
The tourist was found unconscious, suffering from a fractured skull and a broken left arm. The rescue team carefully placed him on a stretcher and carried him down the mountain to transport him to Sadao Hospital. Authorities believe the fall was due to slippery grass or soil, exacerbated by recent rainfall.
