Israeli army and police on Monday detained at least nine Palestinians from the West Bank districts of Jenin and Hebron, as well as in Jerusalem, according to local and security sources.
In Hebron, in southern West Bank, Israeli forces detained a Palestinian from the town of Beit Awwa, west of the city, after summoning him for interrogation at Etzion military base. He was identified as Majdi Masalmeh.
Meanwhile, Israeli army seized the vehicle of Essa Salibi, a Palestinian from the town of Beit Ummar near Hebron, while he was attempting to pass an Israeli military checkpoint near the village.
In Jenin, north of the West Bank, Israeli troops broke into Jenin refugee camp and detained two local Palestinians, identified as Mohammad Othman and Ramzi Qenniri.
The Israeli raid in the camp provoked clashes with local teenagers, during which the Israeli soldiers used stun grenades and steel rounds to disperse them.
Meanwhile, Israeli army detained four Palestinians from Jenin while they were attempting to cross through an Israeli checkpoint at Nablus-Ramallah road. The four were identified as Mohammad Tayseer Nazzal, Ahmad Waleed Saadi, Waleed Saadi, and Ghassan Dalbah.
In Jerusalem, Israeli police stormed the neighborhood of Ras al-Amoud and detained three teenagers, identified as Nuaman Faraj, 16, Mohammad Shweiki, 16, and Ahmad Razem, 17.
