Bangkok: A female victim has lodged a complaint against Thanawan, also known as 'Teelhee Feng Shui', alleging the theft of a pair of valuable stone lions worth 35,000 baht. The victim, Ms. Woon, claims she was deceived into believing that the lions were possessed by a ghost, prompting her to allow Thanawan to remove them for exorcism. Ms. Woon is now seeking the return of the lions due to their sentimental value. According to Thai News Agency, the incident unfolded in 2023 when Ms. Woon engaged 'Tili Feng Shui' to assess the feng shui of her home for a fee of 35,000 baht. The stone lions, initially placed at her front door, were allegedly deemed haunted by Thanawan, who offered to cleanse them. He also advised Ms. Woon to purchase a "Qilin," a granite piece imported from China, costing 400,000 baht to replace the lions. After verifying the product's origin, Ms. Woon proceeded with the purchase. Thanawan reportedly delivered the Qilin and removed the stone lions. However, the lions were never returned. Ms. W oon was initially reassured by Thanawan's secretary that the lions were stored in a warehouse for consecration. It was only upon further inquiry that she discovered the lions were no longer there. Ms. Woon emphasized that her complaint is not about reclaiming the money spent on the Qilin or the feng shui consultation but about recovering the stone lions, which hold significant sentimental value. She believes the lions have contributed to her personal and business success. Ms. Woon is determined to confront Thanawan to ascertain the whereabouts of the lions. She also issued a warning to anyone who might have received the lions, highlighting the legal implications of possessing stolen goods.
