A Chachoengsao villager was chased away and seriously injured by a wild elephant.

Chachoengsao, Villagers in Tha Kradan Subdistrict, Sanam Chai Khet District, Chachoengsao Province were attacked by a wild elephant and had to run to their death, escaping into the eucalyptus forest, but could not escape, being seriously injured by a wild elephant.

After receiving notification from villagers that a farmer was attacked by an elephant in the middle of the eucalyptus forest.

At the scene, Mr. Sombat, 45 years old, a villager from Village No. 3, Tha Kradan Subdistrict, Sanam Chai Khet District, Chachoengsao Province, was found to have been attacked by a wild elephant, seriously injured, so he was rushed to Sanam Chai Khet Hospital.

Later, officials deployed forces to close off the area and found one wild elephant in a stressed state. There is a tendency to come back and harm the villagers. Initially, it was known that the injured person was going out to look at his own rice field when suddenly a wild elephant attacked him and had to run to his death, escaping into the eucalyptus forest.
